Norman L. "Woody" Vaughn, Jr., CSI, CDT, CCI
As Vice-President of Corporate Development for L. Vaughn Company, Warwick, Rhode Island, a leading architectural woodworking company with sales of over $18,000,000, Mr. Vaughn brought career experience and knowledge of the industry to his position. As Director and Corporate Vice-President and Secretary of the firm, he was responsible for Marketing in the United States and abroad where he ran seminars to architects, designers and contractors, lent design assistance to clients, and personally sold millions of dollars of product annually. His experience with the company also includes being Purchasing Manager, Estimator and Assistant Factory Superintendent.
He has received Leadership Awards from the YMCA, Aggressive Leadership Award from AWI, and as Past President of the New England chapter of AWI, doubled its membership. "Woody", as he is known in the industry, is currently a member of NEAWI, AWI, AGC, CSI, ACI, and BSA.
"Woody" has an industry-wide reputation for knowledge of wood specie selection and manufacturing of architectural woodwork, along with high ethical standards and a lifetime commitment to his profession. He is the fifth generation in his family synonymous with quality in the woodworking industry.
